Day 2
Today we are off to Siena, one of Italy’s loveliest medieval cities. Siena's heart is its central piazza known as Il Campo, known worldwide for the famous Palio run here, a horse race run around the piazza twice every summer. Movie audiences worldwide can see Siena and the Palio in the James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace.
A spot of shopping and a tour around the city together with a long lazy lunch in town.
Back to Casa Leana for a typical Tuscan meal cooked from scratch by an Authentic, Italian, local.

Day 3
Today we will be visiting Arezzo. Arezzo is one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany due to its connections with the gold industry. It sits atop a hill (where else?) at the crossroads of four valleys - the Val Tiberina, Casentino, Valdarno and Valdichiana. A bit of sightseeing, a visit to the museum and the obligatory cappuccino and cake then off to one of the fabulous vineyards that surround this city.
A visit to a vineyard and a wine tasting is an awesome opportunity that I recommend to everyone (unless you don't drink, of course but even so the visit to the estate might still be fun).
Lunch enroute in a lovely family run restaurant and then back home to Casa Leana. Dinner out in one of the beautiful medieval towns that surround us in another little one of our favourite trattorias.

Day 4
Today we visit Cortona, one of our favourite places. Although it is small – it's perfectly formed! It is a town full of swanky little boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Cortona is enclosed by stone walls and is about 600 metres above sea level which makes for spectacular views of the surrounding valley and the beautiful Lake Trasimeno. Here you can visit the beautiful Santa Margherita Sanctuary plus the Girifalco Fortress.
During the day we will be stopping off for refreshments in lovely little cafés and for lunch in one of our favourite restaurants. Back over the valley, home to Casa Leana, collection from the house in our iconic Fiat 500. A trip through the Tuscan countryside for an evening meal in a little family run pizzeria.
