The painting and drawing workshops at Casa Leana focus around either a still life based on a Tuscan theme or the buildings and views around the property. This is particularly great for kids and for those adults who are beginners and intermediates.
Workshops on Location
Anghiari, a stunning medieval town, is one of the locations you will paint, with its many different views, from architectural features to views through stone archways of streets full of character and, of course, fabulous rooftop views.
Our landscape workshops take place in the rolling hills around the Valtiberina area, a location made famous by Piero Della Francesca.
Our English speaking tutor, will supply all of your workshop materials and resources including acrylics, water colours, pen and ink, oil pastels and pencils. For beginners the workshop is quite structured to help develop skills and confidence. However, if you are an accomplished painter then just a little guidance is given where appropriate.
All of the workshops are very relaxed and fun and clients always leave with a piece of art to remind them of their holiday in this beautiful part of Italy.
